"S" marked 2N5551/5401 ?!

Since a number of large players are backing out of the small signal transistor biz (insufficient margins?), other companies are taking up the slack. Rectron has recently thrown their hat into the ring as a manufacturer of small signal BJTS. I'm sure other companies are lurking as well, many of them Chinese.
The US company Semtech has never been a manufacturer of small-signal BJTs, but rather diodes of various flavors and TVS devices. There may be a Far East company of the same name, but that's another matter.
