I have been using the 4.7uf K71-4 as my tweeter cap and I prefer them to the 4.7uf K75-10 they replaced.

When I was looking before, it seemed the 1uF was the largest I could find. I managed to find a pair of MGBO metal-canned 4uF 'styrenes and I quickly nabbed them.
Thanks for the good info!

I have not yet, as I've only had them a couple weeks. I haven't even tried to fit them in a design yet. So many people swear by 'styrenes, that when I found them that big I jumped. I will be getting some 10uF as well.

Couple days ago there were 4x of the 10uF left. I went to order today, and only 2x were left.
I ordered a quad of the 4.7uF, and apparently the last 2x of the 10uF.
So heads up- the 10uF are now gone from bergtrans. I have not found them anywhere else online, and I have looked!

Then he updated the listing. It would not let me order more than 2 before.
I guess I'll get 2 more then....

I bought 4x Russian 4.7uf 125V Teflon caps many years ago - never used them, as each one is larger than a can of beer.
I was looking at MGBO 1.5uf. Have you listened to your 4uf?
Are you speaking of the brown rectangular box type ? If so I've tested a couple of them.
I have been looking for a pair of these.

Also I was incorrect earlier the polystyrene are MPGO not MGBO.
Yes the rectangular type.
