You're right. a 'too big' box. that flew right over me
I think DIY open baffle with 15" woofer is the right way to go. These factory super high-end speakers are too expensive for most people. There are also the big horn system from Oswalds Mill Audio: Oswalds Mill Audio | OMA …...but again only few people can get these. I spent about 150 hours building my OB speakers......but it was worth the effort. It always takes longer than expected. Large efficient speakers is a must to get the dynamics in the music…...that is my conclusion.
