Hello all, so at work we are preping a large theater tour headed to Japan and the surrounding region for 6 months or so.
I know Japan is 100v 50hz and surrounding areas are 60hz, but are some higher voltage than 100v at 50hz?
I know that as long as a close frequency/voltage ratio is kept transformers are usually ok.
We're really only concerned with the amps, mostly crown ma series, as well as simple things like outboard processors and the band gear.
Will the lower line voltages mean lower +/- rail voltages resulting in reduced output?
How are UPS's (uninterruptable power supplies) with different frequency/voltage?
The console and self-powered main arrays are auto sensing so they will be fine. Any thoughts? Thanks!
