Rubidium clock

I finished design for it. Available freq. – any from 4 MHz up to 20 MHz.
Self power supply & case. Input – 110/230 VAC. The special feature – output passive filter with 3 matched quartzs.
Quartz filter makes the purest output sinus with the lowest noises and harmonics.
Output: coaxial (50 Ohm) or twisted pair (110 Ohm).
Output isolation via HF coreless transformer.
Price – approx. 590 euros without shipping.
In photo – case.
If you have other questions – ask me!

"pure" and "low" gotta have plots and numbers, at offsets, by known equipment (or well-described measurement fixture).

Typically the rubidium makes a good frequency standart, but is noisier than off the shelf crystal oscillators... so it doesnt make any sense unless you are making yourself an alarm clock. With coockoo. Doesn't worth if no coockoo.

Yes, you right. 🙂 I use passive quartz filter AFTER oscillator. No any active components used after filter. I think, you know what quartz filter provides . Total reducing, excluding main frequency.

Phase noise?

rubidium clock ebay

under $us200

Nice case
Yes, you can buy rubidium module for $200. A you sure in quality for it? I don't produce rubidium module. I take it from oficial distributor. This module not ready for use. In my opinion it needs : power supply unit, filter in power supply unit for cutting of high frequency, driver with low impedance output, quartz filter, screeening of all parts, common case.
The lowest phase noise is provided by quartz filter based on manually matched 3 quartzs.

Dear Tom and everybodies! I'm very sorry! The source of cheap rubidium modules is finished. I had disscusion with autorizied distributor. He said me, the current price for rubidium module is $2000. Always, you can buy it in ebay for $200. I don't know what is it. You buy it and try it, whithout any guaranties.
So, you can order the quality quartz clock. And new!!! The quartz filter!!! With MANUALLY MATCHED QUARTZS!!! I am using the special oscillator for testing of quartz. Price of quartz filter is only 99 euros! It contains three quartzs and three inductors with special output transformer. Location - Saint-Petersburg, Russia. Shipping cost is not included.
