I want to rebuild my crossover, I would like to remove all the parts from the current board, and start over. Rubbing alcohol is supposed to be good for removing hot glue, will it damage any of the crossover components? Some of my current components I want to reuse. I can just tear them off, but that doesn't look great.

Hot melt glue has a weakness. Spray it down with freeze spray. It makes it brittle, and it shatters easily, you can just then brush it away.
Pry most of it off, then use any method above. Even sharp cutting knives can be used..
And see how much the parts cost, may be cheaper to build another.
The glue is for preventing issues with vibration.
Why do you want to rebuild it?

Hi Brad, I use 99% alchohol all the time to remove hot glue for repairs I've never seen it damage anything apart from some perspex/acrylic screens ... what kind of components are you talking about?
Let the alchohol run under the edge of the glue give it about 10 seconds and it will peel easily off ... 🙂
