RPi OS 64bit with GUI. Can I screen blank on no audio?

I have a streamer on RPI 3B+ 64bit bullseye running plexamp headless.

Although it's a headless player I wanted to see what was currently playing so I installed a waveshare 5inch DSI touchscreen.

If I disable screen blanking I'm worried about screen burn-in if it's paused for days.

My problem is that screen blanking turns the screen off while music is playing as there is no user input.

I want screen blanking to detect when no music is playing, and then blank the screen. If music is remotely started, then wake the screen.

This could track either audio output or screen activity as there is a song progress bar that moves and album art/song info that displays.

Does anyone know how to achieve this?

@MAACO Sadly no, I have not got this feature working. I dont think it anything to do with the screen but the programming. There are no settings in rPi Os Bullseye for this. Theres probably something written into Moode and Picore that does this. Maybe theres something that could be written in the config file or a python script. I cant write python though.

Plex is pretty good for audio also. Although the server and player is free plexamp music player is only available with plexpass. It was 75$ for lifetime. Plexamp headless on pi allows streaming of high res flac direct from server to player but controlled from any other instance, within local network or remotely when away. As close to bit perfect as sensible. Multiroom is coming.
