That is not going to carry you too far...
Burn a CD with 400Hz or 1kHz sine signal and start tracing the AC voltage with a DMM.
Report back with your measurements.

This bypass has it working now just need to solder them in and not loose! But on the test speakers it sounds good. So the comment yesterday about the relay was correct?

I have looked for this 10 pin 1A 24vdc relay but can only find 2 online and they're in the US and not cheap.

The fault could definitely be the relay. Not working as a signal switch, but as muting by simply shorting the signal.
Remove the relay instead. If the fault is gone, or the working channel goes silent too, just put in a new relay 😉
