I've recently bought a couple of rotary encoders with push buttons for use on my streamer project menu control.
Unfortunately, the push button takes a very firm push to close. When mounted on my front panel this results in a loud noise! Most annoying!
Looking at the datasheet I guess the thing I should be looking at is switch actuation force. But not all datasheets provide this. Can anyone suggest a suitable encoder with a soft press button?
The part I bought:
Bourns 24 Pulse Incremental Mechanical Rotary Encoder with a 6mm Flat Shaft (Not Indexed), Through Hole
Buy Mechanical Rotary Encoders Bourns 24 Pulse Incremental Mechanical Rotary Encoder with a 6mm Flat Shaft (Not Indexed), Through Hole Bourns PEC11R-4215F-S0024 online from RS for next day delivery.
Thanks a lot!
