I have a problem again and I'd like to address all those who keep the forum alive.
I have purchased a Rohde & Schwarz UPD. Unfortunately the box does not do what it should.
When I switch it on, the monitor turns white and it starts beeping.
That's it. The device was supposedly still working at the seller.
I have a UPL, that's it, turn it on, screen white, then the screen turns black and the routine runs like Dos Computer. Then a VGA graphic builds up and there the UPL is working.
Unfortunately the device is not yet with me because I live in Taiwan. But in 10 - 15 days it will arrive here.
What am I looking for!
Who has had something like this before or believes to know what it could be.
I search for
1. the service documents volume 1 and 2.
2. an operation instruction operator manual
3. the hard disk software
And a thousand good advices.

I had the same situation with my UPD, it always beeped eight times, turned out it was the graphics/video card (VGA backside) which rattled around during shipping and lost connection, after a generous spray of contact spray in the ports, and reassembly it was back and running.
