I ordered the caps this morning along with a bunch of others for a Philips cd207
I’ve not looked at the maroon ones
I’ve not looked at the maroon ones
Sorted now , up and running but the sub makes very little difference though I can feel that it’s working.
Perhaps those very old Alcap capacitors need replacing?
Ok
Orange - input
Blue + input
White - satellite ( jr149 )
Blue + satellite
Since all three blue wires on the crossover input, output and to woofer are connected together, so the blue wires should be negative (-) and the orange wire should be + input.
Please connect the amplifier output + to orange wire and the amplifier output - to blue wire. Also connect the JR149 + to white wire and - to blue wire.
This may bring the subwoofer and satellites in phase and improve bass response.
I see two resistors and a 3 positions selector on the low pass filter to set woofer level of 0dB, -2dB or -4dB.
Maybe it would be better to move it to the high pass filter?
