That's a loss certainly. I met him a few times, we had our differences on technical matters but liked him as a person.
A few years ago he attended ETF in Berlin I think it was, and we tossed down a couple of beers together, last time I saw him.

Oh man, that's a genuine loss. Fantastic guy, we were talking about some possible tube projects for this community...
I talked with Roger a couple of times and attended the BA lecture. He seemed to me to be a good person with a genuine interest in teaching people. He helped me understand the fine points of an amplifier the I built a few years before. RIP
