did anyone had a chance to work on this amp, and if so can you help me with the power supply gate resistor, all has burn out so i can't tell the value of the resistor the switching mosfet is SW50N06. thanks
Post a good quality photo of the component side of the entire main board and the component side of any driver boards if no one can help.
They were probably 100 ohm. That should be OK if you replace with the same part. You'll have to confirm after the supply is repaired.
If you're going to use a different FET, the gate resistor will likely be different.

I have a few extra pieces of rfp70n06, would the 100 ohms still be find, and thanks for the info.
i have repaired a few of these amps for a distributor here in South Africa. the amps he brings in has the same layout as the one you are repairing. These amps have 50n06 power FETS and 47ohm resistors on the gate. I change the power FETS to IRF3205. The reason i do this, because i have found that after repair and while testing the amp the amps gets hot very quickly. The amps does not blow but just keeps on getting hot to a point that you cannot touch the casing of the amp and this heat is only in the power supply section. . I have tried other FETS and found that the IRF3205 works great and does not get hot.
