I had Mt phone as the source. And had the gain all the way up to hear anything at all. What should I be look in ng at? I did change all four outputs on that mesha. And left it at that.
Ok so I have audio now that's ok. I replaced the four there is regular audio.
The pin one dc:
Q210-207. 2.21v
Q208-09. -39v
Q213-212. 2.33v
Q214-q11. -39v
On the speaker output there is 37.6mv

how do i test the TL072C's and the HC74 (SOIC 14) thats what is in this amp not sure if that is correct. Is there a way i can test these components with only a multi-meter?
I don't Perry I was just curious. I was just going trough them with the diode function. They all look the same. Nothing burnt. Just when u told me to check all components in circuit to the t200.
Only thing I see bad is the outputs, which are now replaced. Now just the audio problem. I'm working on obtaining a scope now.
It improved, greatly. It has only been on the limited current at 9.2v give or take with the resistor. I had a few concerns, the fan doesn't spin, I don't know if it's on a thermal switch or not?
The amp will not function at high power with limited input to the B+ line. With everything clamped, insert a 20-30 amp fuse in the B+ line (no resistor) if you want to test at higher power.
Question are all the outputs the same chip in this amp? i found what looked like a irf415 in my pulled parts pile, i used all 3415's correct?
So the audio doesn't sound that bad on the 20 amp fused line on my computer power supply. Fan does not run still.? It does work I checked that. I think something may not be right.
Fan is thermally controlled, 2 speeds. Heating the thermistors with a heat gun will make the fan run. You may have to lift the MEHSA insulators to allow the thermistor to heat enough to make the fan run.
ok thanks perry i think its good to go then. it has some static in the switches ect but over all it produces solid audio. Is that ic the same as a 494? the hc74?
So I tested the amp and it sounded ok on a 3-4 amp 12.6v signal on a fuse and it sounded ok. I bolted everything up with new paste and now no power. I have 11.97v on the source of all ps fets. ??
