Perry the RCA's are already hooked up, it is when I press play, volume is down, that the amp goes into protect. When I paused/stop the signal, the amp comes out of protection.
Cap blown up, found after removing. Removed because it was reading shorted. I still have a short somewhere, because it is still shorted from pad to pad.
The amp should power up fine now shouldn't it, if there is no more bad components? I know it won't have no output, since I am going to have to order a cap (106J/100v). I have replaced 2 IRFP3415's.
I am getting audio now, without it going into protection. But, it is cutting out as increase the gain, no more than an 1/8 of a turn. Something else is going on I am afraid. Using a 33uf 100v cap non polarized
