I was able to pick a set, Rockford Fosgate RFP-2000 ( Hafler JF2000 ) and the matching preamp the RF-200 for very little money, very good quality.
Can anyone comment on the design of the amp ?
32 mosfet transistors
2 42000uf 80V power capacitors
a few 5532 op amp in the motherboard, all Texas instruments
The only problem so far with the amp, is one side gets hotter than the other one.
Since the amp has so many output transistors, how do I know that all of them are working fine ?
Any idea the bias number for this amp ?

For now . Check the quiescent current ( bias ) for both channels . Make sure the hot side bias is the same as the cool side.

I sent an email to the resident historian at Rockford about the bias number
The amp is with my tech for a full restoration
It sounds good and very well made amp
It was based in a car amp mosfet 1000 Rockford
Bias may be 100 ma per device , but x16 that's crazy number
