Rockford Punch 1000-1 that will not start up. just flashing in and out of protection.
im not reading anything real low on any output or power supply mosfet.
Drive looks good.
Amplifier just flashes into protection back out, draws 2Amps of current, over and over.
had an extra power supply driver card here its good, still the protection persists....

Does the amp stay on if you power it up through a limiter?
Is it the red or yellow LED that's flashing on?

The voltage on U101 is what I need. You'll need to make a right-angle probe and possible remove one of the primary filter caps to get to the pins if you want to avoid removing the driver board.

they are all over the place as well so i changed them both. same result. the amplifier came on for a second once the lm317 was changed. Then quickly went back to in and out of protection.
Are you getting about ±20v feeding the regulators?
Are the large resistors in front of the regulators within tolerance?

No. and if i test at main ground and the top of R9 the amplifier almost came on. ..
well someone has had the regulators off and did a bad job off cleaning up the pads and soldering them back down.
