Rockford Fosgate Punch 360.2

Here we have a Rockford Punch 360.2 board number PC-3081-D.

She draws 20 amps current at idle and has full rail on one channel!!!

Found 2 shorted output fets and 2 burned source resistors!!!!

Clipped output fet legs and removed both burned source resistors and powered up fine with DC gone!!!!

Board has been prepped aside a little cleaning!!!

Mosfets tinned!!!

Source resistors installed while output fets are cooling!!!

Output fets are soldered to MESHA board!!!!!

Powers up and idles nicely........Bias is set........and........she's a runner!!!

Not all of them are this easy, but about 75% of them are. Everything in the protection circuit was OK and nothing was out of tolerance.

Time to put it back in it's home.....the heat sink!!!

I do thank you. I am not the fastest but always have been a details man.

If it does not look right I think about until it bugs me enough to re-do it.

A flaw i know but when it looks good and everything is right I feel good about what I have done.
