Rockford Fosgate 2004 P8002 Shorted 28N15 almost entire output section is down and the power supply has no shorts but draws current. I had a great gate drive signal. And no outputs in the board (maybe that's why?) I replaced the Tl494c and the surrounding mmbt3904-3906's and a few diodes. Amp Powers up and I have 10.5v at 4amps. The ps fets are getting hot. The only other parts on the board are the 1620-337-317?
Desolder and lift the center terminal of the two rectifiers. Does it still draw excessive current (B+ connected)?
Are you sure that you don't have any solder bridges on the pads for the output transistors (check very carefully, top and bottom)?
No soder bridges anywhere on the board perry. I also went around with my meter and checked the drivers on ohms, red on gate and black on source. 38.4Mohm and 37.14mohm all around. Here is a look at the gate for the ps. Should I fit the ps fets as well as the output transistors?

All output replaced and installed in I need to check all the 22r2 resistors I think that's what's on the gate of outputs. What's should I do next perry?
The 10 and 22 ohm combination is common. IF you used identical replacements, use original value gate resistors.
Quick update, got power supply up and healthy. Fets nice a cool good clean gate drive signal. Next checked the and fitting new output several smd transistors and resistors. And now excellent osillation in the output both channels produce crystal clear audio. Moving on to the case work.
