The others are heating up now I see it. Thanks perry. It starts out at 1.3amps and when the output stage kicks in it's 2.07amps

If one smd voltage regulator reads -6.95 on leg one, and -5.95vdc on leg three is it defective or is this normal?
The amp does not have clean output and makes a sound when the RCA are applied. It does however play audio? Any ideas.
Hello everyone, i have a Rockford p1000-1bd and It drains 3.6 ampere in idle without load, Is It normal? Moreover It becomes hot After few minutes, about 200F.

i have more of these units now perry that has no output. more perfect signal at the db card (pin 1). It fluctuates with turn of the gain and punch bass pots accordingly.
No shorted transistors
1amp of current draw.
no output at the speaker terminals.
i found a bad capacitor 3900uF 100v after I replaced them all it had a moment of audio then nothing getting through to the speaker terminals.

This is a question that I will ask every time in a class D amp. Do you have rail-rail oscillation. Post the answer in a new thread if this isn't the same amp.
