I pulled the fets and tested them all of them test fine.
The orginals were MTP75N05HD I replaced them with IRF3205's.
I put new driver transistors in the amp and made sure they are in the right locaions.
As soon as i apply remote and ground no power it burns the drivers up.
So im wondering what i should check at this point ?

Could it be possible to have a transformer shorted and not read read shorted between power and ground terminals?
Since i read a short between theese windings of the transformer .
And it appears to have gotten hot at some point and the coating is falling off

That transformer is almost certainly shorted. If/when you order a new one, tell them that you need the one with the extra windings (for the low voltage supply). This shouldn't cause the drivers to fail (it likely has another problem causing that) but the amp won't be repairable without replacing or rewinding this transformer.
Ok i replaced the transformer took all the fets out of circuit and all test good.
Checked all gate resistors all check good replaced the drivers .
Amp still draws excessive current when trying to power up.
Wondering where i go from here?

Are you sure that you have each of the legs of the replacement transformer in the correct location?
Connect only remote and ground (no B+). With all FETs in the circuit, look at the gate signal directly on the leg of each FET. Do ALL look precisely the same?

hi, where did you get the transformer for this amp, i might need some in a future
