Rockford Fosgate 401S Led ?

hey guys I was wondering if someone would know by any chance what size of ohm resistor I would need to use to power the led logo indicator on this 401S Rockford Fosgate amp directly to 12-16volts

I am unsure what the forward voltage is they use on these type of leds so I am unable to determine a calculation but do not want to try a resistor and burn out the led embedded on the logo does anyone know by any chance the ohm size to use?

Internally, the LED is powered from the regulated supply. Is there a reason why you want to change that?

They use about 1.1k ohms in series with 30v. Cutting that in half (560 ohms) would produce approximately the same current.

Thanks Perry and I am using this display in one of my setups in a vehicle project I am working on I do not have the board internally I plan on running cooling fans underneath this heat sink instead
