Its like they designed them just for Nelson..
And Nelson, I kept going to the room at RMAF to volunteer but he didn't need me.. I even offered to get coffee!

Yeah i heard closer to $100 too.My understanding was about $100. I have been playing with
an early pair for some months. They are particularly good in
an OB with a current source.
😎
Supposedly with a Qts suited to a infinite baffle sealed box, ob (no blh/these), ~94db/rising top end thus requiring a correction network.
Has that been your experience with this driver or were you able to enjoy them without a c.n., and or bsc?
Well, 100 or 130$, it is certainly a more appealing price range for those of us who like to experiment a bit without committing an equivalent of the next 3 months household budget! 🙂
Just hope some pics and data-sheets will be available soon!

This was one of the better sounding rooms. The speakers are stacked modules that are easily replaced if damaged and the speaker behaves like a line source without a narrow sweet spot.

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

I've liked this room every year. Jeff Catalano is a really nice guy and plays real music. I like the Horning speakers - the midrange is a Lowther with the whizzer cone removed, as it should be.
