RIP Tina Turner

Legendary singer Tina Turner (November 26, 1939 – May 24, 2023) has died at the age of 83 after a long illness.

I saw TT live at Portsmouth Guildhall in, I think, 1984 at the start of her UK "come back" tour.

We had front row seats and were close enough to receive her sweat as it was flung off her by her gyrations!

Never to be forgotten. RIP

Was gutted with the news,although I knew she was very ill
My parents constantly played proud Mary,mountain deep ,I can't stand the rain etc
Saw her during live aid and brought the private dancer album and loved her in mad max and the song we don't need another hero
I still love her duet with David Bowie and that reggae beat

I've used this song by Tina many times to test amps, speakers, and sound systems.
It's always tickled my ears with its dynamics and impressed my friends too.
RIP Ms Tina!
