Rest in peace, Siegfried. Glad to hear it was a peaceful exit given the circumstances of his cancer. Thanks for all your contributions.
I brought my wife and son to Burning Amp and Eike stood next to my son and caressed his head while I listened to West Side Story through the Orions Siegfried had set up. Very vivid memory. My thoughts are with Eike and the children. RIP
Very, very sad news. His work was always an inspiration for me. Rest in peace, Siegfried. Many THANKS for all your contributions.
All my best wishes and prayers to his family,
and more selfishly, does anyone know of a website or fund where I could pitch my pennies to help preserve his fantastic website for the very long term? Any info anywhere on this thread would be greatly appreciated,

Sad news. I know his audio legacy will continue to live on in my home.
When I asked him for a passive upper mid-to-tweet Xover for LX521 he said" "that is something for DIY". So you can guess what I will be doing this winter.
I enjoyed his handwritten Xover documentation and such; a great engineer.
