Mr. Ivey was working on my phono amp, and as time wore on, his grandson took over the project(Ivey became too ill). His grandson recently informed me that Ivey had passed, so I wanted to let the forum know.
He was a very nice man.
RIP Ivey.

Mods, move this/delete it.
Apparently ivey has not passed after all.
ive been duped.
someone posing as "his grandson" said he had passed(and gave that as the reason for the amp not being completed)
the grandson used his email address.
WTF.
twilight zone.
felt very , very bad because I had spoken to him on the phone. actually was very sad about it(hence my tribute thread here)
god man, how screwed up. faking someones death.

Great link. Regarding your preamp, have you considered calling the guys in white coats who took Ivey away?
