Four High-Gain Mike Transformers
Model TM-50 from a Tube Bogen PA mixer
They are in black cans that have pins that
plug into a 9-pin tube socket. They are heavy.
Loaded 100K on secondary, the primary Z is 150 ohms.
They have a voltage gain of 20 from 150 to 100K
Loaded at 100k, response at 1Vout = 20Hz to 20Khz
flat with slight drop off after that.
I ran music through them and they sound sweet and
smooth. They can take a fair amount of in level, but
with this much gain, generally used with Ribbon mikes
or pad so the 1st. stage is not over loaded.
All Bogen transformers were highest quality.
I have four, Mint, $20.00 each.
$6.00 charge for packing. Buyer pays shipping.
I can send suggested schematics for tube use.
