Hello at all.This is my first post!
Recently I have buy this wonderfull cd player,but the display light is very low.
I have searched and found it on ebay, but is only green.Is possible change the color( I like blue as Mcintosh ),for example with the module of the A721?
Where I can found the service manual for the B226S ?

The green lamps, as used in some models can easily be substituted for "DIY LED" lights of any colour you want !!

However, some models use an electro-luminescent backlight which cannot be substituted and does go dim with age. Use the search function. There is a thread on here re: changing it.


I have a manual - it is very large.
