Hello,
I am trying to restore my Revox A77 MK3 from 1972 the best way I can. Bought a new set of heads, replaced all the worn out parts, ie the pinch roller and the bearings etc. When it was time to replace the capacitors over the Speed Control board I have noticed that it was the older version, without the ICs. Now I am wondering if it is possible to just swap this board with a newer version, or would there be necessary modifications if I do so? The manual that I have and the one available from HiFiEngine only have the new version schematic, therefore I can not make a comparison.
Thanks in advance,
Dirk
