I actually made up my mind, buying either the Hoontech DSP 24Value (Cinch / RCA), or the M-audio Revolution, which has the new envy24 chip, but "only" minijack, but when buying it in Germany, I will get the sonica usb
included in the price !!!

But I read somewhere you shouldent use the envy24HT chip for playing mp3 - compared to another envy24 card, unless you will make some modifications or use a DAC.
Someone know about this, or is this the right card for me ? (The Revolution)
I am planning to use it with my passlab DIY preamp / Leach poweramp, for playing mp3 / ogg Vorbis files through analog out stereo (2 speakers).
Actually the Revolution turn's me on, and I maybe think this is the right card for me...
But it's the sound-quality thats matter, not all the fanzy stuff.
