Review of Apex Ribbon Tweeter

Has anyone reviewed about "Apex Ribbon Teeter"?

Apex Jr.com says that it produces 6 kHz - 25 kHz.

Does it reach to 25 kilo?

Please attach some words about it.

I tried the Apex ribbon with a single Adire AV3 and as an MTM with 3" tangbands.

Sparkly highs, a lot of resolution but not easy to listen to for hours. I did nothing fancy, just a 3 mF cap and an L pad brilliance control. The woofs were uncrossed.

25k? I have no idea.

I prefer the small Audax TM010 for $10

There is some info on the ApexJr Ribbon on my web site.

This is an OK & cheap way to add a little sizzle to the top of a FR unit. 3 uF is about right, but they can be pushed a little lower as i did in the toobz.

These same ribbons have been seen with the Akai brand on them.
