Looking at getting myself a project to work on over Christmas.

Want to add a valve reverb unit in it like on an old fender or vox amp. Does anyone know any kits to use or have any advice?

I have a Peavey Valverb reverb & tremolo I just put in the effects loop.
Weber has an IC tremolo kit for tube amps, but not a reverb, though they do have a "general purpose gain stage" add-on sub-chassis that would do nicely.

I'd get a kit with a reverb. You won't fit the extra valves in the kit's chassis so you'll have to have separate chassis for the reverb's circuitry, match the B+ voltages, and fit the tank in your case too.
You could maybe fit the accutronics belton brick in your kit. It's a reasonably good digital reverb made by the guys who make spring reverb tanks in an attempt to get that same sound. I like it, but many don't. Support circuitry is pretty small, but solid state. It won't thunder when you hit the amp though.

Looking at the construction manual it looks like there is room for two 9 pin sockets. I think I would use the circuit from a fender aa763.
