Hello I'm also trying to fit another bulb into my projector as we all now that these bulbs are also $400 plus. What about the cheap bulbs that the overheads use ?? 300 watt halogen 82 volts it's rated at 460 lumens and lamp life time of 75 hrs it's much smaller than original part number ENX these bulbs are like $10 can this be done? And what is the over all out come of doing this?Will the image still be nice and bright?I will still use the original lamp housing (metal).Halide bulbs here in central Ontario georgian bay are almost impossible to get shipping, taxes, and just plain lack of projector any-thing.

1,what is size of electrodes.
AC lamps have two electrodes in same size;
DC lamps have one electrode larger than the other one.
2,whether this is a vacuum seal on the bulb?the vacuum seal is the bump thing on the ball part.

Hi !
it has vaccum seal , so it is a 250W Metal Halide lamp.
I am selling this bulb, without reflector.
the price is $40 each, shipping is $5.
