If I clog up the high side of my sixth order parallel band pass i I still get those quarter wave resonances ?

Yeah, I could have told you that you're going to have some major resonance issues with that design. Driver on one end of the chamber + vent entrance at the other end of the chamber = asking for major resonance issues.
Offset driver + offset vent configuration can be used to tame some of them. See my "Enigma" project for an example of such a configuration.
