i used standard carbon/metal film resistor for the best price 😀
only used a few good resistors like Dale, Riken, PRP, Takman, Welwyn, etc for aesthetic 😀

I tend to agree, I couldn't hear any difference either.

I would expect that when we hear a difference then it's due to a change in the resistance (transient changes included) and/or a change in the interference.
Small, tight tolerance and low tempco avoid both of those problems.
So much so that even measurements into the PPB level cannot tell, properly specified, resistors apart when checking circuit performance.

does the "small" means the size?.and how many percent could be considered as tight tolerance?.does generic 1% metal films counted?
and i also don't understand the temperature coef of resistors

Temp coef is all about how much the resistance will change with a change in operating temperature.
In a critical environment the resistor could change value significantly as it warms and cools.

Ignore the nonsense about ESL chopping up the signal, as one of the comments after the article says. That part seems intended to frighten EE-illiterate audiophiles. The rest of the article says nothing new?

Some locations would be perfectly happy and performance would not change with +-10%.
Other areas may require better than +-0.01% to achieve specified performance.
In general audio, but not including balanced impedance matching, 1%, metal film, 50ppm is good enough.
I use 1%, 600mW, 100ppm, metal film @ ~1.6pence each.
