Hi guys, I have a pair of Pioneer SP-FS51-LR that were water damaged, the cabinets are toast. I managed to save the three woofers, tweeter, vent ports and binding posts.
I want to build a wall mount cabinet in my garage and would like to incorporate speakers into said cabinet. How can I find out what volume cabinet I'll need to build?

Find the original size of the speaker, multiply the three (height, width, and depth) inch dimensions to get a volume. The number will be in cubic inches.
I hope you also managed to save the crossovers too, as the speakers won’t be very nice without them.

I did save the xovers. The speakers are not quite square, they have a taper at the back. It's not a big taper so can I just measure it as if it were? I'm not looking for exact audio sound, close enough is good enough, its going in the garage.
I would try and measure both ends and pick a number in the middle for that dimension.
The port can be calculated for volume and recreated by making a slot across the bottom.

The ports were plastic inserts that I saved. I figured I can drill the same holes and put them back in. I'll take a pic tonight of what I saved.
