Required input for given output?

Watts ain't for free - I know that. You can never get more out than you put in - I know that.
However, my big-box Home theatre amp claims to deliver 1000 watts from a 120w PSU.

Of course audio contains peaks and troughs. I have a 24v (250 watt) PSU connected to TPA3116D2. How many more modules can I connect to the same PSU.

It can probably deliver 1000W peak-peak power from 120W DC.
It's all part of specmanship and managing the definition; inventing one if it helps sales
How is that 1000W specified, if at all? Probably a meaningless number anyway.
