Requesting Expert Feedback on Custom 4-Way Accuton Crossover Design

Thank you so much, my friend. Thanks to you, I was able to solve it!
Other people kept saying it wasn't possible without showing any real proof, but you showed it clearly with evidence.
I'm really grateful.
Thanks to your help, I think this project will be a big success!
Actually, I took it out of curiosity to understand to what extent the AI was right or not, and the improvements of chatgpt are quite poor.
A few point to consider are:
  • it's a simulation with traced curves and, even if all the drivers are measured in the same conditions, some inconsistencies are possible.
  • measured parameters can be (very) different from the datasheets

Project design
  • choose the type of loudspeaker that is suitable for your room
  • select the right drivers
  • choose the xo Fc that you like for your speaker/drivers
  • design your enclosure volume/port with the correct bracing and stuffing/damping materials, rounded edges to avoid diffraction phenomena.
  • Position the drivers on the baffle in order to avoid discrepancies with xo Fc (correct CtC distances)
  • Be sure to have repeatable measurement conditions (garbage IN > garbage OUT)
  • Measure the drivers on baffle
  • Design the XO by considering on-axis and off-axis FR, Sound power, etc.
  • Measure your speaker to verify that the design is consistent with the simulation
  • Treat your room to solve problems connected to the environment
  • etc., etc....

I would learn the process first and eventually try to improve the design with chatgpt as you have to be able to evaluate the improvements proposed by it.
Have fun

PS I hope you can get a very good sounding system especially considering that only the cost for the drivers is around 4000€.

We all said that we needed real measurements. Now shadowplay62 have used real measurements. Not of your driver's, but hopefully they are accurate enough. He's good work also shows that workbook solutions or AI do not work

I have no real measurements of the drivers but I used the ones indicated on the filter schematics.
I traced the FRDs and manipulated them in Diffraction tool to get off-axis FR, PIR and SP.
Moreover, I calculated the cabinets volume for the W and the M appropriate for the design and, clearly, it was just a guess as I don't know the real baffle size or the volumes of the enclosures of W and M and/or they are closed or ported.
