Replacing the Potentiometer Dual Pot. for Lepai T2020A+

Hey guys,

I want replace the current Potentiometer Dual Pot. on the Lepai T2020A+ as the one currently there is just horrible and looks super cheap. My Actually squeaks when I turn it.

Do you think this might do?

I am having hard time finding the right pot of the amp, the ones that would fit are not 20L but 10K or 50K.

What would happen if I would use a 10k or 50K pot instead

I did some reading and people say that Alpha is good company can anyone confirm this?

WHY? Is it making scratchy.. Sounds on your Speakers?? when you turn the Volume knob??
IF not.. then there is serious OCD at work 🙂. Rather than actual problems with it besides it not looking as AudioPhool approved
DO remember this IS a ~$14 Amplifier. What? do you honestly expect in the way of Premium parts?

I know sounds silly it's my Christmas project

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

I got 2 of these amps, One as a backup and One to mod. Got myself inductors, capacitors, film capacitors and ect.

And the Potentiometer on this amp is just cheap and horrible(I know just like the rest of the amp) so I want to replace it as well.

So over Christmas I just want to play around and mod this amp to see if it's really true what people have been saying.

But don't be thinking it will sound better, as direct result of a new pot.
