Want to replace the pots on a DJ mixer. The originals have a value of 20K, but are hard to source, cost about $12 a piece. I can find comparable units, but at a value of 10K, for $2.

No, it will affect the overall performance of the gains/volume and tone controls.
If they are rotary controls, you don't state, use 22k.

they are rotary pot. pcb mount, vertical style. These are closest I can find - RK09L124000Z ALPS | Mouser
Though there may enough room on the panel to mount another type of pot and run wires to the pcb. Not sure if it's worth the trouble though.
The $12 part is from a reseller. Rane doesn't seem interested in supporting their older model mixers. I had contacted them but not heard back. The company apparently changed ownership not long ago. Rane Sold To InMusic (Numark, Denon, Akai) - DJ TechTools
A lot of companies are not open right now due to the virus. That might interfere with interest in customers.
