Replacing circuit board jumpers

I have a Sony X77ES CD player. The circuit board has about 50 shiny chrome jumpers on it. I was thinking of replacing them with silver wire. Any reason I shouldn't?

"shiny chrome" = standard tinned copper wire.

No - there is no point in this. A lot of them won't even be in the audio path.
