Replacing 63v caps with 50v in powersupply

I'm recapping a preamp. The DC voltage across two 2200uf/63v in the Powersupply, read 38v. AC between the positive terminal and ground is 34v.

Is it ok to replace them with 2200uf/50v caps? The actual output voltage to the rest of the circuit is about 58v.

In a word - no. For safety and longevity, you must use caps with a rating that can reliably withstand worst case supply voltage surges and spikes. Use the next higher standard rating (63V).
