replacement tweeter

Hello everyone

I'm looking for help to find a suitable replacement tweeter for M-audio studio pro 4(discontinued). on the back of the tweeter it says "audiophile component" i looked on google and found out they ceased to exist.

here is the info i have:

impedance 4 ohm
power 10 watt
cone size 1"
overall diameter 75mm(3")
cutout diameter 50mm
they have 4 screws 63mm(2,5") between them
crossover of the speaker 2600Hz

Hi,

The above should fit and is probably the best drop in replacement.
(Irrespective of price, without modding the likely single capacitor,
and generally putting in more effort and cost than they are worth).

The original tweeters are cheap and tacky, as is the build quality,
and IMO your chasing a very lost cause with expensive tweeters.

The real Audax tweeters are miles better than the cheap clones.

That is a nice fit, might want to order an extra pair at that price; shipping is going to more than the tweeters.

Saw some old posts on ebay, might find OEM.

Very helpful i was not aware of madisound look like the have a lot of stuff. I'm definitely on the right track, I think i will go for Audax TW010F the one sreten pointed out.

Hi,

Probably a better idea to order some other nice drivers
to offset the sting of the shipping to Iceland, though
I understand MS shipping is cheaper than PE or MCM.
