In my amp there is a NJM4580 from JRC, one half being used as DC servo and the other as an input buffer for the amp. It is dead because of its zener supplynow being a short to the positive rail.
I cannot source any NJM4580. Is there a suitable replacement which can do both functions equally well? NE5532 (which I have plenty) maybe?
Regards

If you really want NJM4558 then go to the scrapyard and pick up any ghettoblaster or cheap stereo.
Or You could just use your NE5532 and then you will experience much better sound quality.
But change the similar one in the other channel.

you can use a wide range of dual op amps
I would try the follow: OP-275 (Analog Devices), OPA-2132, OPA2604 and NE5532 (last three from TI)
