I emailed them too - 2 days ago (via their ebay account) & got a reply that they would contact me by phone within 24hrs - I was away from the phone some of yesterday but no voicemail or call yet!

Lineup, one thing is that they base their amp modules on these mosfets
so I doubt they are inferior!
Probably worth a punt at £3 each?

not long time ago, I bought 4 pairs 2sk1058+2j162 in Indonesia for replace Class D lateral Mosfet from my NX150 and they are really good.

and it cost me $10 for a pair of K1058+J162.

In my opinion Class D bring more power but k1058+j162 combo give me more sweet sound.

Ah, Jopie, finally somebody who has used these ClassD mosfets. So, verdict is good sound with more power but 2SK1058 sweeter sounding.

Where did you get the 1058/J162 pair (matched, I presume) for $10?

Jkenny, you can order original Mosfets from reicheldt.de in germany but since you live UK way I would look at Dalbani.co .uk they are only slightly more expensive here but i think it will save you a bit because of handling charges.

Depends how many he'd like to buy, for 1/3d of the Dalbani rate(ex taxes) he could get them from the US.

(As me thieving grandfather used to say before he turned religious : why shop at home if you can steal abroad.)

I knew about reicheldt.de and that they were the cheapest I could find in Europe (@€3.50) but they have a €150 minimum order for orders outside Germany (€10 in Germany) and I only wanted 10 (to get two matched pairs). That's why I posted a request for some kind German DIYA member to be my shipping agent nut got no replies.

I tried Avnet (or as they are called Anot) & at $5.34 they were cheap but to avoid international shipping of $25 I was getting them shipped to a US address which they didn't like & after a week waiting for approval (& an extra $20 added to shipping) I cancelled them (for which they seemed to be delighted ). All other US sites I've seen are about the same dollar price as reicheldt.de

In the shop that I previously sent you a link 2SK1058 costs €3.30 (if you buy 10 pcs.) and there is no minimal order. Have you check it? The only problem is the international delivery fee - you can ask about it.

I looked into that site & registered but haven't received a confirmation yet - shipping is €15 which makes the price for 10 €48 + VAT

I'm not sure whether your calculation is correct. If you buy 10 pcs. the price is 3.31€ and this amount already includes VAT. And you also wanted to buy 2SJ162 so you shouldn't add 15€ to 2SK1058 but rather to the total. (Yes, I know that 2SJ are more expensive in the shop ).
