Hi Guys and Gals,
I looked around the web and the only replacement devices that I found for the Citation are all NTE knockoffs of the original devices:
MJE-350
MJE-340
MPSU10
MPSU60
MPSA13
Are the devices made by NTE good quality. I would like to modernize the amp as much as possible. I don't know if matching specs on a Bipolar is as crucial as with a FET. Will any good quality Bipolar do as long as it meets or exceeds the original devices specs? There are also a couple of transistors on the schematic that are referred to as "General Purpose". I assume that these are used in non-critical applications as they do not specify a model number. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I have used U10's and 60's in product, and because of their
wide bandwidth they are a little trickier to replace, and
you will want to pay attention to the speed spec of the
replacements.
If they aren't damaged, I wouldn't replace them at all.
MJ15022-27 series are excellent outputs if you can find them
and if the package is the same.
