Replace Mark Levinson ML-2 with MJ15024/15025 need help

It looks like the ML2 spec you are quoting shows that the ML2 cannot pass it's maximum ClassA output current into a 2r0 load.
14.14Vpk & 7.07Apk into 2r0 is that 50W into 2ohm.
This is -5dBV relative to the specified 80W into 4r0.

post18 & post22 state different values.

That's correct because the initial writer of this thread explained that he only could get .50 Volts at the Testpoints meaning 50/56 = 0.9 amps bias at each TO3 instead of the specified .56V which would give 1A.
3.6 Amps bias gives you a tad over 50 watts Class A at a 2 Ohm load instead of the 64 Watts with 4A. You can do the math yourself probably.

Mark Levinson ML2 Bias Help

Hi there,
Anyone can help me with locating the bias pot and bias measurement point of Mark Levinson ML-2? I have a pair of the ML-2 but the heat sinks are cooler than what it should be. They play and sound OK but not as good as my previous pair. I guess they are needed to be re-bias.
Thanks!
