Repairing a speaker

I'd like to repair this Audax speaker myself if possible. The magnet has become detached from the basket. I've never opened up a speaker before and would appreciate any help. Does it just need glueing back on to the basket or is there more to it?

You will need to clean off all the old glue so it sits straight and doesnt cause the voice coil to rub.
I would reglue it but make sure the voice coil doesnt rub in the position you glue it.

Speakers are made from the other way, the magnet is fixed first then shims are put in to center the magnet.
Then the voice coil is entered into the magnet.

It's all up to you. Pro shops woudl not attempt it without also reconing. LIke Nigel said, they are assembled the opposite way. There is no cone yet, and they assemble the magnet and pole piece. Then the cone/voice coil assembly (without dust cap) is shimmed in place in the magnetic gap (thru where the dust cap would be), and the surround and suspension are both glued. Then when dry the shims are removed and the dust cap glued in place.
