Lots of manuals can be found here but the 2215 is not one of them.

electropt said:Hi there,
First of all I'm sorry to hog this thread like this, but does anyone know where I can get the Tektronix 2215A service manual?
I can only find it for sale...![]()
Is this the only way to get hold of it?
Thanks in advance,
electropt

I had finished successfully the repair of my TEK-2213 scope after replace the CA3127E. Now I return to the audio DIY😉.
Thanks for the help of Ashok,EC8010.

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

Is the service manual for the 2000 series more complete than the manuals for the specific scopes, in my case, the 2213 manual? I have the latter and I'm disappointed.
X.G. ,
I downloaded the TDS2000 series service manual for you . It's a 2.1 Mb PDF file. Want me to email it to you?
If not we should ask someone on the forum to provide some space on their server where I can up load it and you can download it from there.
Let me know what I should do.
Cheers,
Ashok.

2213 vertical problem on ch.2 only
Does anyone know of a good reference book, site, or other resource that might give me a little extra troubleshooting help?
Some details:
Ch 2 stopped responding to signals after I turned the 2213 on yesterday. I've had it only a couple of months, so I'm dismayed. Rather than open the scope and go to work right away, I consulted the manual's troubleshooting flow chart. Since I have no problems displaying the baseline trace, moving it up and down and changing the scan rate, the only advice the chart gives is to go to the affected circuit and repair it! (or something equally useless)
I suppose I could trace an applied voltage through the vertical signal path without assistance or a 'scope, but it sure would be nice to have a little help.
