I don't know how I did it but I have snapped the plastic base that holds the speaker output terminals.

Looking at the exploded parts list in the service manual it seems that this assembly isn't an available spare part
I'd like some beginners advice on how best to proceed
If I can't do the work I know of somebody competent who can and who charges fairly

Measure the hole, and check some catalogs to see if you can find another binding post that will fit.
I've found binding posts, that is easy enough. My problem is that the Left & Right are parts of a small plastic extrusions that doesn't seem to be a standard size even if the spacing is the standard 19mm the holes in the back panel don't seem to the same as the replacements I have found searching online.
I'd be wanting to replace both channels
The vertical copper bar connecting to the PCB looks large enough to handle a very large current, it's 2.7mm by 0.75mm

OK I can't make the parts I bought work without taking the whole amp apart.
Maybe I could weld the small plastic bits back together with one of the new Super glues?
